Hypnotherapy is a combination of Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. The Psychotherapy in itself is extremely beneficial, and its effects are enhanced by the application of Hypnotherapy, which enables the subconscious mind to make positive changes.


Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, and it is important to understand that change happens because you want it to.


Please note:

There is no magic wand to weight loss – but having the knowledge as to why you continue to repeat patterns of behaviour that you know are unhealthy is very powerful.  Having simple practical steps you can take to change these pattern of behaviour gets you on the right track.  Knowing why dieting doesn’t really work in the long term, but changing pattern of behaviour and reducing stress are the key to long term change.


Being a Solution Focused therapy, we don’t focus on the problem (with good reason), we take the emphasis away from diet, exercise and weight and focus on feeling good and how to achieve that.  We know that when we feel good, we naturally make better choices about food and feel motivated to exercise.  The mind body balance is what we strive for.


Losing weight doesn’t MAKE you happy – but being HAPPY makes it possible to lose weight.

Class Details

Each class has 3 main parts:


Part 1 – Learn about why our brain lets us over-eat when we know it’s bad for us.

I’m sure we all wake up saying enough is enough, today will be different, but by 8pm you’re back to your old unhealthy routine…..what’s going on in your brain that’s allowing that to happen and what can you do to change those patterns of behaviour?


Part 2 – Goal setting suggestion – you choose your own goal each week

Your goal could be to stop eating chocolate, or it could be to be more tolerant with the kids in the morning, or to tidy the kitchen before you go to bed….we all know that if our head is in a good place we don’t comfort eat, you set your own goal.  (This is not discussed openly, your privacy is important)


Part 3 – Hypnosis (relaxation trance) to help relax you and allow your brain to process the suggestion
